Memorial Day, Monday May 27, 2019. Davie, FL . Regular Memorial Day events. There will be the parade down Orange Drive at 10:00AM, with the Memorial Service at 11:00AM in the Bergeron Rodeo Arena. The local Second Infantry Division Reenactors are invited to this event. If possible, a 21 gun salute will be performed.
Independence Day, Thursday July 4, 2019. Fort Lauderdale, FL The big Independence Day parade down Broward Blvd. The parade steps off at 9:00AM, so we must be staged no later than 8:30AM at the Westgate Shopping Center, (NW corner of US 441 and Broward Blvd). This is a long (distance wise) parade and well-attended! It is likely, but not certain, that we are going to the Davie 4th Celebration, which usually occurs right after the parade. We will try to update this information when the event is fully organized.
